General This is a Sources Sought in support of the Lab at James A. Haley Veterans Hospital (JAHVH) located at 13000 Bruce B. Downs Blvd., Tampa, FL 33612, is conducting this market research survey to identify potential qualified sources capable of meeting the need identified in the attached DRAFT Statement of Need, for a Chemistry CPRR (Cost Per Reportable Result) with Laboratory Automation System. Information collected from this notice may be used to identify potential qualified sources of supply. If a solicitation is issued, the Government will do so in accordance with the most current Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC), current FAC 2026-01, effective 03/13/2026. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) number is 334516 (Analytical Laboratory Instrument Manufacturing). The NAICS size standard is 1,000 Employees. Identify if you have a contract vehicle that can be utilized for the scope of the requirements in the attached Draft Statement of Need (e.g. GSA FSS, NASA SEWP, etc). Identify the agency and contract number. Provide clear evidence of capability to meet the salient and functional requirements in the attached statement of need. Explicitly identify any product offered and provide brochure or technical information necessary as part of the evidence. Respondents are requested to quickly survey and identify if they can provide the complete test menu requested and/or identify what percentage of the menu can be provided. Identify which items would be open market or GSA FSS/ and schedule number , or other specific sourcing solution and contract # available. Identify the manufacturing country of origin if anticipated capable product(s) are known. Authorized distributor letter from the manufacturer (If the responding party is not the OEM). If the offered product is domestic, will the responding party acquire the products from a small or large business manufacturer? Identify if subcontracting is standard for industry in meeting the Draft Statement of Need. Does the respondent s equipment currently have an approved Pre Procurement Assessment and Implementation for Medical Devices/Systems (VA Directive 6550 Appendix A). Identify if any industry standards not listed should be considered (e.g. ISO XXXX, etc..) NOT REQUIRED: Identify if there is a question to the draft statement of need at this time. If a solicitation is issued in the future, there will be a specific opportunity for questions. NOTE: Capability statements must be brief. We recommend only including necessary information. Statements should be 1 3 pages, with a 5-page maximum. Equipment brochures may be added separately and not included in the 5-page limitation.
