The 35th Contracting Squadron, Misawa Air Base, Japan has conducted their market research and intends to solicit, negotiate and award a sole source firm-fixed price (FFP) purchase order under the authority of RFO 12.102(a) to a large business: Motorola Solutions UEI MSJ4JJEFNDE6. The proposed North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for the this acquisition in 334220, with a small business size standard of 1,250 employees. This purchase order will be to purchase Motorola Solutions Bi-Directional Amplifier. Market research concluded that Motorola Solutions is on the only vendor capable to meet the specifications of this requirement. Although the Government intends to solicit and award a sole source purchase order under the authority of RFO 6.103-1(b), interested concerns that believe they could satisfy the requirements listed above for the Government may clearly and unambiguously identify their capability to do so in writing on or before the response date for this notice. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations. Information submitted in response to this notice will be used solely to determine whether competitive procedures may be used for future procurements. A determination by the Government not to compete this acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any questions regarding this notice must be submitted in writing via Email to POCs listed below, no later than 03 Sept 26 at 5:00PM Eastern Daylight Time (EDT. If no affirmative written responses are received by above due date/time, award will be made without further notice.
