Army Contracting Command - Detroit Arsenal (DTA) is conducting a Market Survey to determine the level of interest among qualified Contractors for the production of the following: NOUN: Heater, Water and Ration NSN: 7310-01-387-1305 Suppliers capable of manufacturing and producing these items must indicate so in response by completing the attached questionaire and sending by e-mail, to Lauren DeRoche, lauren.r.deroche.civ@army.mil before the closing date of this posting. The purpose of this markey survey is to aid in the development of an acquisition strategy, identify the best of potential offerors, and gather information for planning purposes about capabilities of each industry source as defined in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 15.201(e). The input will help ACC-DTA ascertain the interest, capability, and capacity of all potential offerors. The market survey does not constitute a solicitation and shall not be construed as commitment by the Government. No telephone responses will be accepted. This request is a Market Survey and is issued soley for information and planning purposes. This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP) or an announcement of a forthcoming solicitation, nor is it a request seeking contractors to be placed on a solicitation mailing list. Response to this notice is voluntary and no reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this Market Survey and any follow on information requests.
