CNAFR C-40A Calibration and Certification

Department of Defense · Department of the Navy · NAVSUP FLT LOG CTR NORFOLK
Account requiredWhy it scored this way

Every reason behind the verdict rather than the headline one — which of your certifications match, how much runway is left, whether the work is your size, and what we would need to know to sharpen it.

Draft the paperwork

Written against this notice and what you have told us about your company. Anything we do not know is marked [NEEDS INPUT] in the draft rather than guessed at — read it before you send it.

Start a free trial to draft these. Nothing is sent to an agency on your behalf, ever — you get a document to review, edit and submit yourself.

Compliance matrix

Every stated and implied requirement, its source section, whether it is mandatory, and where your response will address it.

Proposal outline

A submission skeleton where every required element is a heading with its source requirement quoted beneath it. You write the substance; nothing gets forgotten.

Questions to submit

Genuine ambiguities and requirements that disadvantage a smaller bidder, drafted as questions you can submit before the Q&A deadline.

Past performance write-ups

Which of your prior awards best match this requirement, and draft write-ups in the format the agency asked for.

Statement of work, as posted

THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS AND A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTATIONS: The NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center (FLC) Norfolk, Contracting Department, Regional Directorate intends to solicit on a firm-fixed price basis using sole source acquisition procedures with Calibration Specialty, Inc. The instant requirement is for the procurement of calibration and certification services for the C-40A aircraft support equipment (SE) for the Commander, Naval Air Force Reserve (CNAFR). The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with Calibration Specialty, Inc. on a sole source basis, as they are the only vendor who demonstrated documented experience calibrating C-40A aircraft support equipment and maintaining the requisite NAVAIR METCAL certification necessary to perform calibration services on Navy and Marine Corps aviation support equipment. A firm fixed price (FFP) contract is anticipated. This requirement is intended for sole source to Calibration Specialty, Inc. The NAICS code for this effort is 541380 and the size standard is $19M. It is the Government’s intent to process this procurement under FAR Part 13 procedures. It is anticipated that the solicitation for this requirement will be posted on https://SAM.gov. The closing date for receipt of quotes will be established in the solicitation. Paper copies, faxed copies, or email copies of the solicitation will not be provided. Interested parties are solely responsible for monitoring the aforementioned websites for posting of the solicitation and any amendments thereto. The Government will not pay for any information received. Contractors must be registered on the System for Award Management (SAM) website (www.sam.gov) in order to be considered for the award. Lack of active registration in the SAM database will make a contractor ineligible for the award. Any questions related to this synopsis should be sent to the attention of Mrs. Coleen Johnson at coleen.r.johnson.civ@us.navy.mil
