The purpose of this project is to procure comprehensive professional engineering services to conduct a structural vulnerability assessment of the existing "Annex Building" and to perform a geotechnical investigation for the proposed "Annex Building" and "Irrigation System" projects located at the Ambassador’s residence. The services include field investigations, laboratory analysis, structural diagnostics, and the development of engineering designs for structural reinforcement, all in strict compliance with the Colombian Seismic Code (NSR-10) and the technical requirements of the Facility Management Office. Consists of an existing one level Annex structure currently requiring a vulnerability diagnostic to assess its seismic performance and structural integrity. Additionally, future site development includes the construction of an "Annex Building" and an "Irrigation System". The Irrigation System includes an underground tank and a ground-level facility for control equipment. Given the nature of these structures, they are classified as "low-category" construction units under Table H.3.1-1 of the NSR-10 code, requiring professional geotechnical exploration to identify subsurface characteristics and engineering properties of the terrain.
