The Government has issued an Invitation for Bid (IFB) for the fabrication, pre-acceptance storage, and delivery of six (6) High Voltage Power Supply units for the Chicago Sanitary and Ship Canal (CSSC) Electric Dispersal Barrier located in Romeoville, Illinois. PROJECT INFORMATION: This is a solicitation notice for a Non-Commercial Supply contract. The project involves the fabrication of four (4) 1.5 MW and two (2) 350 kW High Voltage Power Supplies, a mandatory twelve (12) month pre-acceptance secure storage period at the contractors facility, an option for six (6) additional months of storage, and final F.o.b. Destination delivery to the operational site. SCOPE OF WORK: The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to manufacture, test, store, and deliver six (6) complete, fully functional HVPS units in strict accordance Scope of Work (SOW). These units are a critical component of the nations aquatic invasive species defense system. This will be a Firm Fixed Price (FFP), IFB procurement in accordance with FAR Part 14, Sealed Bidding. The Government intends to award to the lowest priced bidder deemed responsive and responsible. ACQUISITION INFORMATION: This procurement will be issued on an Unrestricted basis (Full and Open Competition). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 335314 (Relay and Industrial Control Manufacturing), with a corresponding small business size standard of 750 employees; this is not set-aside to small businesses. One or more of the items under this acquisition is subject to the World Trade Organization Government Procurement Agreement and Free Trade Agreements. No qualification requirement is required in order to be eligible for award; and if so, identify the office from which the qualification requirement may be obtained. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, bid, or proposal, as appropriate, which will be considered by the agency. The award is planned for fourth (4th) quarter of Fiscal Year (FY) 26.IMPORTANT POLICY: Bidders are REQUIRED to be registered and active in the System for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov AT THE TIME a bid is submitted.
