Solicitation - Fire Department Vehicle Exhaust Maintenance, Inspection and Repair at Edwards, AFB

(i)This is a solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with part 12, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Hereafter, this notice shall be titled "Solicitation." (ii)Solicitation Number: FA930126Q0006. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) to offerers. Please review all solicitation documentation for complete instructions and requirement information. Interested parties who believe they can meet the requirements for the services described in this solicitation are invited to submit a completed quote using the attached Model Contract (Attachment 9). Vendors are required to submit with their response enough information for the Government to evaluate the minimum requirements detailed in the solicitation. Any information provided in response to this solicitation is strictly voluntary; the Government will not pay for information submitted in response to this solicitation. Award will be made using the criteria in RFO 52.212-2 and its Addendum (Attachment 6). (iii)Defense Priorities and Allocation System (DPAS): N/A (iv)This is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 23820, Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors, with a size standard of $19,000,000.00. The wage occupation code for this requirement is: 23410 - Heating, Ventilation and Air-Conditioning Mechanic(v)Contract Line-Item Numbers (CLINs) and items, quantities, and units of measureincluding options. It is anticipated that one award will be issued. (vii) Description of services to be acquired: The contractor shall furnish all supervision, equipment, tools, labor, and supplies necessary to perform for annual inspection, preventive maintenance and repair of vehicle exhaust removal systems located in Fire Stations 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 located on Edwards Air Force Base (EAFB), and Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL), California. The contractor shall not perform inherently governmental functions as defined in RFO Subpart 7.5 in relationship to this SOW. The work shall be performed in accordance with (IAW) this SOW, industry standards and/or manufacturer recommendations, whichever is strictest. This is a nonpersonal services contract to provide the of Fire Department Vehicle Exhaust Maintenance, Inspection and Repairs. The government shall not exercise any supervision or control over the contract service providers performing the services herein.
