NFLIS support and maintenance

Department of Justice · Drug Enforcement Administration · DRUG ENFORCEMENT ADMINISTRATION
Account requiredWhy it scored this way

Every reason behind the verdict rather than the headline one — which of your certifications match, how much runway is left, whether the work is your size, and what we would need to know to sharpen it.

Draft the paperwork

Written against this notice and what you have told us about your company. Anything we do not know is marked [NEEDS INPUT] in the draft rather than guessed at — read it before you send it.

Start a free trial to draft these. Nothing is sent to an agency on your behalf, ever — you get a document to review, edit and submit yourself.

Sources Sought response

A complete draft response — capability statement, relevant past performance, business size and socioeconomic status, and answers to the agency's specific questions.

Questions to submit

Genuine ambiguities and requirements that disadvantage a smaller bidder, drafted as questions you can submit before the Q&A deadline.

Past performance write-ups

Which of your prior awards best match this requirement, and draft write-ups in the format the agency asked for.

Statement of work, as posted

The U.S. Department of Justice, Drug Enforcement Administration intends to award a sole source purchase order to Port Lee for Porter Lee-Bar Coded Evidence Analysis Statistics and Tracking (BEAST) for Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) data acquisition. This vendor uses proprietary systems/reports to generate data and reports needed for the continued operation of the Drug Enforcement Administration’s sponsored National Forensic Laboratory Information System (NFLIS). The DEA’s NFLIS-Drug data collects drug identification results and associated information from drug cases submitted to and analyzed by participating Federal, State, and Local forensic Laboratories with drug chemistry sections many of whom are ANAB/ASCLD/LAB accredited and conform to the requirements of ISO 9001 and designed to assist forensic laboratories in meeting the requirements of ISO 17025 accreditation. The government will not modify the data obtained from participating vendors other than to ingest it into NFLIS. This notice is not a request for competitive quotation. The closing date for submitting a capability statement is August 26, 2026 at 4:00 PM Eastern Standard Time (EST). All submission should be submitted electronically to Denise.N.Scott@dea.gov.
