Department of Defense · Department of the Air Force · FA6648 482 LSS LGC
Account requiredWhy it scored this way

Every reason behind the verdict rather than the headline one — which of your certifications match, how much runway is left, whether the work is your size, and what we would need to know to sharpen it.

Draft the paperwork

Written against this notice and what you have told us about your company. Anything we do not know is marked [NEEDS INPUT] in the draft rather than guessed at — read it before you send it.

Market intelligence

Account requiredWho wins this work, and what it pays

Comparable awards under NAICS 332311 at this agency — the incumbent, what they were paid, when their period of performance ends, and the real pricing distribution rather than the headline number. From public federal award records.

Statement of work, as posted

The government intends to issue an out-of-scope, sole-source modification to the existing firm-fixed-price design-build contract, FA64824C0006, awarded to South Dade Air Conditioning (SDAC). SDAC is a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, UEI: ZJMTAL6MZLU4/CAGE: 0Y085, Address: 14510 SW 284th St, Homestead, FL 33033 This modification will add emergency structural repairs to Sunshade Alpha (Facility 4193, Row A) following a vehicle/ equipment strike that severely compromised the beams structural integrity. Because the incumbent contractor is currently active on-site executing the parent contract, is fully mobilized, and possesses the specialized structural design calculations for these specific canopies, awarding this modification on a sole-source basis is the only viable method to prevent immediate structural collapse, eliminate an active safety hazard, and protect mission-critical military aircraft. Estimated Value of Modification: $180K
