This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a proposal is being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Region 2 in Edison, NJ. requires a contractor to design, install and test a new Fire Sprinkler/Suppression System for Building 10 at the US Environmental Protection Agency, Edison Environmental Center, located at 2890 Woodbridge Avenue, Edison, New Jersey 08837. A draft PWS is attached. It is the Agency’s intent to award a stand-alone firm-fixed price contract. This acquisition is set-aside for small businesses with Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business (SDVOSB) certifications. The anticipated Period of Performance: 180 days after Notice to Proceed with an estimate Period of Performance (10/1/2026 – 4/9/2027). This acquisition will be processed in accordance with FAR Parts 12 Acquisition of Commercial Products and Commercial Services in conjunction with FAR Part 15 Contracting by Negotiation and FAR Part 36 Construction and Architect-Engineer Contracts. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 238220, Plumbing Heating and Air Conditioning Contractors with a size standard of $19 million. The solicitation number is 68HERF26R0054 and is issued as a request for proposal.
