The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Human Foods Program (HFP), Office of Laboratory Operations and Applied Science has a brand name or equal requirement for preventive maintenance and remedial repair services for six (6) Government-owned Applied Biosystems 7500 Fast Real-Time PCR Systems. The services are required to maintain the instruments in proper operating condition and support laboratory operations. The required services include manufacturer-compliant preventive maintenance, pure dye calibration, remedial repair, and technical support. Contractor personnel must be appropriately qualified and factory-trained or manufacturer-equivalent trained. The contractor must furnish required replacement parts and calibration materials, meet applicable repair and technical-support response times, and provide service documentation sufficient to support the Government's ISO/IEC 17025 laboratory accreditation requirements. The anticipated period of performance consists of a one-year base period and three (3) one-year option periods, with the base period anticipated to run from September 21, 2026 through September 20, 2027. The applicable NAICS code is 811210, with a small business size standard of $34 million. This acquisition is not set aside for small business concerns.
