The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New England District is solicitating an Invitation for Bids (IFB) for the New Project Office at the East Brimfield Lake Dam in Fiskdale, Massachusetts. This will be a 100% Small Business Set-Aside IFB procurement. The NAICS code for the work described below is 236220 with a size standard of $45M. The estimated magnitude of this project is between $1,500,000 and $3,500,000The work of this project involves the demolition of two existing out-buildings (which will include lead paint abatement), and the construction of a new one-story wood framed project office building with a pitched roof. The building consists of offices, kitchen, restroom, reception spaces and an attached two-bay garage.The project includes the redevelopment and expansion of the existing paved area to provide additional parking spaces, and improvements to accessible access to the building.The work will also include all necessary utility and earthwork, such as, but not limited to excavation, filling, backfilling, trenching, compaction, and grading; placing topsoil and seeding at disturbed areas.
