New Orleans to Venice (NOV), Louisiana (LA) Projects Hurricane and Storm Damage Risk Reduction System Request for Information (RFI) – Commercial Clay Source The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is conducting market research to better understand the commercial availability of clay material sources capable of supporting the New Orleans to Venice (NOV), Louisiana Hurricane and Storm Damage Risk Reduction System (HSDRRS). Information received will be used for acquisition planning, development of future procurement strategies, and refinement of project requirements. This notice is issued for information and planning purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation. Responses will not be evaluated for inclusion on a qualified source list, nor will they result in the award of a contract. a. Provide the Firms name, address, Unique Entity Identifier (UEI), firm business size socio economic status and Primary point of contact. b. Statement of Capability (SOC) stating your skills, experience, knowledge, and equipment required to perform the specified type of work. c. All requirements listed in Appendix A – List of Commercial Clay Source Requirements (ATTACHMENT). All items listed in the Appendix A Attachment are required to be submitted and to be current and updated within the last 12 months. Potential submitters are highly encouraged to submit their package as early as possible so the USACE team can begin evaluation and possibly provide any feedback prior to the closing date. Submit this information to Mrs. Darcel Rice at darcel.g.glenn@usace.army.mil. Your response to this notice must be received on or before 11:00A.M. on 31 August 2026. To arrange to submit large files, send an email to Mrs. Darcel Rice at darcel.g.glenn@usace.army.mil requesting access to DoD SAFE. Please provide the name, phone number and email address of the person who will be uploading the documents to the DoD SAFE site. An email will be generated by DoD SAFE with a link to site to upload documents. Please make note, the link expires after 7 days. It is recommended that a link be requested when documents are ready to submit Summary Scope of Work: The purpose of this RFI is to gather information on commercially available clay material sources that may have the capacity and capability to support the requirements of the NOV, LA Projects. The total quantity of clay material needed is approximately 5,000,000 cubic yards (CY). The construction contracts are currently scheduled to be awarded from the 4th quarter of Fiscal Year 2027 through the 4th quarter of Fiscal Year 2030. Construction for the NOV, LA Projects are scheduled to be completed by the end of 2035. PLEASE THE APPENDIX A ATTACHMENT
