1.0 Requirement Overview This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products or commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), on behalf of the Department of War (DoW), has a requirement for professional, secure, and on-demand Ad Hoc Language Interpreting Services. 2.0 Key Contract Parameters Set-Aside: 100% Small Business Set-Aside Contract Type: Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) Service Contract. Unit of Measurement: Hours Quantity: 1,353 Hours Period of Performance (PoP): One (1) Year flat from Date of Award. Primary NAICS Code: 541930 – Translation and Interpretation Services (Small Business Size Standard: $22.5 Million). Place of Performance: Assignments shall be located at DLA HQC, the McNamara Headquarters Complex at Fort Belvoir, Virginia or off-post, any location deemed necessary by the government within the specified radius. The commuting area of the ad-hoc interpreters is within a 45-mile radius from the McNamara Headquarters Complex to account for the National Capital Region (NCR). 3.0 Scope of Work Summary The selected contractor will provide up to 1,353 hours of highly qualified, on-demand language interpretation support over the course of the one-year contract. Interpreters must be capable of dynamically translating verbal communications between English and specified target languages. The contractor must be capable of providing qualified interpreters (typically 1-2 interpreters per request). Security & Compliance: All interpreter personnel must adhere to strict Department of Defense operational security (OPSEC) guidelines and may be required to sign non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) prior to performing services. 4.0 Questions & Communications Vendor Questions Due: All questions or requests for clarification regarding this solicitation must be submitted in writing no later than Friday, August 21, 2026, by Close of Business (5:00 PM EDT).
