This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12. This announcement constitutes only solicitation. Quotations are being requested and separate written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number 12363N26Q4212 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for This procurement is restricted to the approved companies eligible for call orders under the R2 Rocky Mountain Restoration Project BPA for the San Juan National Forest in the state of Colorado. This requirement may be awarded to one vendor as a BPA Call Order against BPA's previously solicited on the Government Point of Entry (GPE). The government will not provide feedback or evaluations to companies regarding their submissions in response to this notice that are not eligible for awards under the R2 Rocky Mountain Restoration Project BPA. The DH Brockover IRSC is part of the Durango Hills Fuels Reduction located on the Columbine Ranger District of the San Juan National Forest. Land management objectives for the project area are summarized as follows: Cutting of sawtimber-sized trees, and the removal of material that meets the minimum tree specifications as identified in Appendix B from the treatment area and treat resulting slash. The purpose of this project is to better ensure public and firefighter safety through reduced fuel loading, to improve habitat for native wildlife species, and to aid in the return of ecological function and resilience. Land management objectives for the project area are summarized as follows: Increase Forest resiliency, increase age class diversity, promote recovery of forest vegetation, Reduce the risk of high severity wildfires, and Provide wood products for both commercial and non-commercial uses. The performance period is Date of award through November 30, 2029.
