The U.S. Department of the Interior, Office of Acquisition & Property Management intends to award a firm fixed price sole source contract under the authority of: FAR 6.103-1 only one responsible source To LIFE TECHNOLOGIES CORPORATION 5781 Van Allen WAY Carlsbad, California 92008-7321, United States The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 811210 Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance, $34,000,000 The product service code (PSC) for this requirement is J066, MAINT/REPAIR/REBUILD OF EQUIPMENT- INSTRUMENTS AND. The object of this sole source award to ILLUMINA, INC., is for preventive maintenance and repair service for 7500 Real Time PCR Systems, Quant studio 6 Pro Real Time PCR System, and Attune NXT 1 Laser Flow Cytometer for a base period and up to one option year subject to the availability of funds (SAF). Market research determined that Life Technologies Corporation is the original and exclusive manufacturer of the identified instruments and retains the intellectual property rights to the proprietary software, diagnostic tools, service tools, and technical information required to maintain and service them. The anticipated award date is August 31, 2026. This synopsis does not constitute a solicitation; however, if any interested party believes they can meet the above requirement, it may submit a statement of capabilities. The statement of capabilities must be submitted in writing and must contain clear and convincing evidence that competition of this requirement would be advantageous to the Government. If parties choose to respond, any cost associated with preparation and submission of data or any other cost incurred in response to this announcement are the sole responsibility of the respondent and will not be reimbursed by the Government.
