THIS PROJECT IS BEING SOLICITED AS A COMPETITIVE INVITATION FOR BIDS (IFB) SET-ASIDE EXCLUSIVELY FOR SMALL BUSINESS CONCERNS. THE NORTH AMERICAN INDUSTRY CLASSIFICATION SYSTEM (NAICS) CODE IS 238210, ELECTRICAL CONTRACTORS AND OTHER WIRING INSTALLATION CONTRACTORS. THE CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES ARE COMMERCIAL IN NATURE, HOWEVER, THE PROCEDURES OF REVOLUTIONARY FEDERAL ACQUISITION REGULATION (RFO) PART 14 AND 36 ARE BEING UTILIZED FOR BOTH THE METHOD OF PROCUREMENT AND NATURE OF THE WORK. THE NATIONAL GUARD BUREAU (NGB) INTENDS TO AWARD UP TO FIVE (5) FIXED-PRICE CONTRACTS AGAINST THIS SINGLE IFB. EACH SEPARATE CONTRACT LINE ITEM NUMBER (CLIN) WILL BE TREATED AS ITS OWN SEPARATE BID OPENING, ALL HELD ON THE SAME DAY. AWARD WILL BE MADE TO THE LOW, RESPONSIBLE BIDDER(S) FOR EACH SEPARATE LOCATION. IF A BIDDER IS THE LOWEST FOR MULTIPLE AREAS, THEN THAT FIRM WILL BE AWARDED A SINGLE CONTRACT FOR THOSE APPLICABLE AREAS (E.G., FIRM A MAY BE THE LOW BIDDER FOR CLIN 0001, 0003, AND 0004, BUT WILL ONLY RECEIVE ONE ?C? CONTRACT AWARD). THE PROJECT MAGNITUDE FOR EACH SEPARATE CLIN IS AS FOLLOWS:CLIN 0001, ALPENA, MI: BETWEEN $500,000 AND $1,000,000CLIN 0002, SALT LAKE, UT: BETWEEN $250,000 AND $500,000CLIN 0003, VOLK FIELD, WI: BETWEEN $500,000 AND $1,000,000CLIN 0004, MORRIS, AZ: BETWEEN $500,000 AND $1,000,000CLIN 0005, HORSHAM, PA: BETWEEN $500,000 AND $1,000,000.
