In accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b) / 8.405-6(a)(2), this Notice of Intent is to inform all parties the Department of Veterans Affairs, Malcom Randall VA Medical Center, 1601 SW Archer Road, Gainesville, FL 32608 (Mail Code 151) intends to award a sole source procurement for the following requirement to the large business manufacturer, Allentown LLC. 165 Route 526 Allentown, NJ 08501 Phantom2 Animal Transfer Stations Quantity 5 NexGen Mouse 500 IVC systems (mouse rack and cages) Quantity 5 NexGen Rat 1800 rat cages Quantity 110 NexGen Rat 1800 IVC systems (rat racks) Quantity 4 System (70-cage single-sided individually ventilated rack, blower, connectors) Quantity 350 Allentown LLC s products directly support the operational and compliance needs of the Research Service at the North Florida/South Georgia Veterans Health System. The requested equipment is essential to ensuring that the Veterinary Medical Unit (VMU) remains in compliance with the Guide for the Care and Use of Laboratory Animals and VHA 1200.07 (VA Research With Animals). This acquisition prioritizes the replacement and modernization of core infrastructure required to maintain regulatory compliance, uphold occupational health and safety standards for VMU staff and research personnel, and provide appropriate conditions for animal housing and survival surgery. The associated North America Classification Systems (NAICS) Code is 332618 and the Business Size Standard is 500 employees. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement no later than 4:00 PM Eastern Standard Time, Wednesday August 19th, 2026. Information received in response to this notice must clearly demonstrate the capability of meeting the Government s need as stated above. Include any relevant information (specifications, cut sheets, brochures, capability statement, etc.) confirming the ability to supply the products and/or any services outlined in this notice. A determination not to compete this requirement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
