Account requiredWhy it scored this way
Every reason behind the verdict rather than the headline one — which of your certifications match, how much runway is left, whether the work is your size, and what we would need to know to sharpen it.
The requirements that decide a bid — bonding, clearances, experience minimums, page limits — live in the attachments, not in the notice above. Start a free trial to upload them and have them read.
Draft the paperwork
Written against this notice and what you have told us about your company. Anything we do not know is marked [NEEDS INPUT] in the draft rather than guessed at — read it before you send it. Federal notices routinely put the real requirement in an attachment; adding the documents above makes every one of these materially better.
Start a free trial to draft these. Nothing is sent to an agency on your behalf, ever — you get a document to review, edit and submit yourself.
What would disqualify you
Read straight from the solicitation documents: the bonding, clearances, insurance minimums, experience thresholds and deadlines that decide whether you can bid at all — before you write a word.
Sources Sought response
A complete draft response — capability statement, relevant past performance, business size and socioeconomic status, and answers to the agency's specific questions.
Questions to submit
Genuine ambiguities and requirements that disadvantage a smaller bidder, drafted as questions you can submit before the Q&A deadline.
Past performance write-ups
Which of your prior awards best match this requirement, and draft write-ups in the format the agency asked for.

Account requiredWho wins this work, and what it pays
Comparable awards under NAICS 813920 at this agency — the incumbent, what they were paid, when their period of performance ends, and the real pricing distribution rather than the headline number. From public federal award records.
This requirement is for membership in The Acoustical Society of America (ASA). NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SINGLE SOURCE: The NAICS Code is 813920 – Professional Organizations. The Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) Enterprise Strategies and Initiatives Contracting Division (RMZ), located at Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio, intends to award a sole source purchase order as authorized by RFO 12.102(a) to The Acoustical Society of America (ASA). In order to comply with RFO 5.101(c)(4)(vii), the reason for lack of competition is as follows: The Acoustical Society of America (ASA), a subsidiary of the America Institute of Physics, is the only group that offers membership to this organization and enables 711 HPW/RHWS to play an active, voting role in critical standards committees that ultimately determine procedures that must be employed in critical USAF functions. In addition, they are the only group that can provide the appropriate publications to support ongoing scientific efforts in 711 HPW/RHWS. Please see attachment to this notice for additional details. This Notice of Intent is NOT a request for competitive quotes or proposals. A determination by the Government for the competition of this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. All responsible sources or authorized distributors may submit a capability statement that meets all the requirements in the attached Minimum Requirements Document (MRD) dated 05 August 2026, quotation, or exception to the intent to purchase on a sole source basis, which shall be considered by the Government via e-mail to Mr. Christof Olp-Weakland at christopher.olp-weakland@us.af.mil no later than Friday 23 October 2026 at 12:00pm Eastern Time. Only responses received by this date will be considered. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Be advised that all correspondence sent via e-mail shall contain a subject line that reads “Notice of Intent to Award SS – Acoustical Society”. Note that e-mail filters at Wright-Patterson AFB are designed to filter e-mails without subject lines or with suspicious subject lines or contents (i.e., .exe, or .zip files). Therefore, if this subject line is not included, the e-mail may not get through the e-mail filters. Also be advised that .zip or .exe files are not allowable attachments and may be deleted by the e-mail filters at Wright-Patterson AFB. If sending attachments with e-mail, ensure only .PDF, .doc, docx, xls, or .xsls documents are sent. The e-mail filter may delete any other form of attachments. Attachment(s): Statement of Work (SOW) Single Source Justification (SSJ) Redacted

Submit questions
Ambiguities and requirements worth clarifying, written as questions you can send before the deadline.
Opens in your own mail client, addressed and with a subject line — you write the message. GovSprint never sends anything on your behalf.
Emails open in your mail client and are sent from your address, so the reply comes back to you and the exchange stays yours. Confirm the correct channel and any question deadline on the notice before sending — many solicitations require questions in a specific way.
