Statement of work, as posted

This is a Sources Sought notice issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office 20. The VA is seeking information from Sources capable of renovating surfaces associated with halls and walls throughout the facility. This notice is for market research only and not a request for proposals or quotations. It does not obligate the Government to issue a solicitation or award a contract, and no reimbursement will be made for responding. The VA anticipates soliciting this requirement under FAR Part 12 procedures. The anticipated NAICS code is 236220 Commercial and Institutional Building Construction DESCRIPTION OF THE REQUIREMENT: This project includes wall coverings, floor finishes, and replacement of ceiling tiles. The Contractor will provide all labor, materials and necessary equipment. All work will meet SOW, drawings, and specification requirements as well as any applicable manufacturer s recommended installation procedures. The project includes: Walls: Remove existing wall finishes and hardware as needed. Prepare surfaces (clean, patch, HEPA/wet sand) to match surrounding areas. Install new wallpaper, wainscoting, or paneling with professional workmanship. Apply high performance primer and premium paint using brush and roller only, spray application is prohibited. (approx. 14,500 SF) Floors: Remove and dispose of existing flooring and underlayment; abate as required. Install new carpet or resilient flooring with necessary prep. Repair and re texture walls where base is removed. For subfloor replacement, establish an asbestos barrier and provide a third party negative air test before removal. Install 6" coved resilient base for sheet goods with fir cap; continuous resilient base for carpet. (approx. 7,370 SF) Ceilings: Remove existing ceiling tiles and clean debris. Inspect and prepare grid as needed. Replace all tiles, including those with fixtures, using high performance products. (approx. 470 SF) Corner Guards: Replace vinyl corner guards and associated metal brackets in like kind. (approx. 5) Interested parties should submit a brief capabilities statement demonstrating their ability to perform the required services AS WELL AS complete the questionnaire below to include with your response. Include any comments or questions you may have. Responses will be used solely to help determine the appropriate acquisition strategy, including potential small business set aside. Other than small businesses may also respond. Responses are due no later than 8/21/2026, at 3:00 PM Pacific Standard Time and must be submitted via email to both Charlene.Johnson8@va.gov and Helen.Woods@va.gov. Note: Do not include Proprietary, classified, confidential, or sensitive information in responses.
