Sources Sought for MT NP GLAC 14(5), Many Glacier Road Landslides This Sources Sought is "REQUEST FOR INFORMATION" only for the proposed contract work listed in the requirements section below. This Sources Sought Notice is not a request for formal proposals or quotes. Final plans and specifications are not available at this time. Responses to this Sources Sought must be received by email no later than the date specified in the response section. The intent of this sources sought is for market research to determine contractors with the necessary experience and resources capable of performing this work. Documentation of technical expertise must be presented in sufficient detail for the Government to determine whether your company has the capability and experience to compete for this acquisition. Responses to this notice shall include the following: a. Company Name b. Address c. Point of contact e. Phone and email f. Unique Entity Identifier (UEI number, SAM.gov) g. Bonding Capacity (per contract) h. Type of small business if applicable, e.g. Other than small, Services Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, 8(a), HUBZone, Women Owned Small Business, Small Disadvantaged Business: i. Listing of your highway/bridge construction experience within the last 3 years where you were the prime contractor for work of similar type and scope. Include contract numbers, titles, locations, dollar amounts, means and methods, etc. j. Any other information you want to make the Government aware of. REQUIREMENT: NAICS Code 237310, Highway, Street, and Bridge Construction apply to this procurement with a size standard of $45 million. Estimated Price Range: $20 - $30 Million. Project Location and Type of Work: The project is located in Glacier National Park approximately Four (4) miles West of Babb City, Glacier County in Montana. The proposed contract action is for a firm-fixed-priced construction contract. This project consists of reconstruction of approximately 2.65-miles of Many Glacier Road with drainage improvements; roadway reconstruction; aggregate base; and asphalt surfacing. The work also includes landslide mitigation at five locations that includes the installation of horizontal drains, rock revetments, rock buttresses, and sub-excavation. Additional Project Details The estimated period of performance will begin with an anticipated award in Winter/ Spring 2027 and a fixed completion in Fall 2029. RESPONSE: Responses to this Sources Sought Notice should include all information requested in (a) through (i) above. Determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government is not obligated to, nor will it pay for or reimburse any costs associated with responding to this source’s sought synopsis request. This notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract, nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach. If interested in performing work on this project, whether as a Prime or Subcontractor, submit responses to this Sources Sought Notice no later than 09/14/2026 at 14:00 PST to WFL.CONTRACTS@DOT.GOV or to the Microsoft from link in the attachment.
