S205, Solid Waste Disposal, Alaska VAHCS THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. This is not a solicitation for bids, proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of all qualified sources to perform a potential requirement. The responses received from interested contractors will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method to include sole source acquisition. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office (NCO) 20, is conducting market research to identify potential sources which can provide the following services: Title: Solid Waste Disposal NAICS Code: 562111, Solid Waste Collection Locations for pick up / delivery: Alaska Veterans Affairs Muldoon Clinic, 1201 Muldoon Rd, Anchorage AK Alaska Veterans Affairs Domiciliary, 3001 C Street, Anchorage AK Tasks: The Contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, management, support, supplies, ancillary equipment, vehicles, and materials necessary for the accomplishment of a complete waste disposal program. Specific tasks include: Provide dumpsters. Transportation (Pick-up and Delivery). Waste shall be collected at the designated locations (Muldoon Clinic and Domiciliary) with the following frequencies: Location Item Type of Waste Frequency Unit Muldoon Clinic 40 CY Solid Waste 2 Per Week Muldoon Clinic 8 CY Recycling Paper 1 Per Week Domiciliary 4 CY Solid Waste 3 Per Week Domiciliary 4 CY Solid Waste 3 Per Week Special Requirements: Waste shall be disposed of only at landfills or designated waste disposal sites that comply with State of Alaska Environmental Conservation Regulation 18AAC60. Some dumpsters shall be equipped with necessary features to prevent wildlife from entering the dumpster. Period of Performance: Estimate 10/1/2026-9/30/2027, plus Option Years 1-4. Potential candidates having the capabilities necessary to provide the above stated services are invited to respond to this Sources Sought Notice via e-mail to Danielle Carrico at Danielle.Carrico@va.gov no later than 8/28/2026 at 5PM PT.
