Statement of work, as posted

This is a Sources Sought in support of Market Research being conducted by the United States Air Force to identify potential sources to provide the manufacturing and installation of aircraft sunshades. The Contractor must provide all labor, materials, tools, and equipment necessary for the installation of aircraft sunshades described below. The work to be accomplished includes the following: Design of structure, design of structural foundations, design of lighting, superstructure, fabric cover, site preparation, site improvements, sunshade installation, and lightning protection. This effort is in support of the 412th Maintenance Group, Edwards AFB, CA. 2. Requirements • See Statement of Work 3. Requested Information Interested parties are requested to submit a Capabilities Statement that clearly demonstrates their ability to perform the requirements stated above. Responses should include the following information: Company Information: Company name, address, Point of Contact (POC) name, title, telephone number, and email address. Identifiers: Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) Code and Unique Entity ID (UEI). Business Size/Socio-Economic Status: Indicate business size and any applicable socio-economic designations (e.g., Small Business, 8(a), HUBZone, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business, Women-Owned Small Business) under the anticipated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code [Insert NAICS Code, e.g., 238990 or 332311]. Capabilities & Experience: A brief description of your company's capabilities, facilities, and previous experience on similar projects involving aircraft sunshade design, fabrication, and installation. Include contract numbers if past work was performed for the Federal Government. 4. Response Instructions Responses to this Sources Sought notice must be submitted via email to the Contracting Officer, Susana Dryer, at susana.dryer@us.af.mil and Wendell Brown at wendell.brown.2@us.af.mil no later than 3:30 PM Pacific Time on 19 August 2026.
