DESCRIPTION: The 409th Contracting Support Brigade, RCO Bavaria, is seeking qualified sources capable of providing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and Self?Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) components in support of USAG Ansbach Fire Rescue. Required items include: • Firefighting jackets, EN 469 Class 2, gold?black?blue, with back labeling “U.S. ARMY / FIRE?RESCUE.” • Firefighting trousers, EN 469 Class 2. • SCBA PSS AirBoss units with standard manometer. • Standalone PASS devices (Body Guard). • NANO Type 4 compressed air cylinders, 6.8L / 300 bar. • Full?face masks with 180?degree viewing window. CRITICAL REQUIREMENT: All SCBA units, compressed air cylinders, PASS devices, and full?face masks must be 100 percent compatible with the existing Draeger systems currently in service with USAG Ansbach Fire Rescue. Offers proposing non?compatible equipment will not be considered. PURPOSE OF THIS NOTICE: The Government is seeking to identify potential sources with the capability to supply the required PPE and SCBA components in Germany. Responses to this notice will be used for planning purposes and be considerate for solicitation. SOLICITATION: A formal solicitation (RFQ) will be issued after the Sources Sought / Pre?Solicitation notice closes. The solicitation will include detailed specifications, quantities, instructions, and evaluation criteria. DISCLAIMER: This notice does not commit the U.S. Government to award a contract.
