Radford Army Ammunition Plant (RFAAP) Industry Day #8

Department of Defense · Department of the Army · W6QK ACC-RI
Account requiredWhy it scored this way

Every reason behind the verdict rather than the headline one — which of your certifications match, how much runway is left, whether the work is your size, and what we would need to know to sharpen it.

Draft the paperwork

Written against this notice and what you have told us about your company. Anything we do not know is marked [NEEDS INPUT] in the draft rather than guessed at — read it before you send it.

Start a free trial to draft these. Nothing is sent to an agency on your behalf, ever — you get a document to review, edit and submit yourself.

Sources Sought response

A complete draft response — capability statement, relevant past performance, business size and socioeconomic status, and answers to the agency's specific questions.

Questions to submit

Genuine ambiguities and requirements that disadvantage a smaller bidder, drafted as questions you can submit before the Q&A deadline.

Past performance write-ups

Which of your prior awards best match this requirement, and draft write-ups in the format the agency asked for.

Statement of work, as posted

The Army Contracting Command - Rock Island, the Project Lead Joint Services, and the Army Sustainment Command are planning to host Industry Day #8 for the planned competition for the production of propellants and the operation of the Radford Army Ammunition Plant (RFAAP). Industry Day #8 will be the final site tour opportunity for Offerors. Given the resources required to accommodate this site tour, the USG requests only those companies interested as Primes participate in Industry Day #8. Similar to Industry Day #7, the USG intends to allow companies access to various facilities for an extended period of time (approximately one week in total) to allow for a final focused and in-depth analysis of the facility. Due to the tight timeline to complete the site tours prior to Final Request for Proposal (RFP) release, the USG must complete all site visits within the next 30 calendar days. If interested in participating in this final site tour, please submit your response to the following, to the points of contact identified in this announcement: *Clearly identify all facilities and locations you would like to tour. (The USG will not be providing suggestions nor filling in the gaps of time with additional tours.) Identify an estimated amount of time requested at each facility and/or location. Identify the number of people you would like to patriciate in the tour. Provide a priority listing of dates your company requests to tour, given the USG completion timeframe identified above. Provide any additional considerations the USG should factor in for this final Industry Day site tour. *If specific facilities or location details are not provided, the USG will not be able to accommodate the site tour request. The USG will keep safety in the forefront when scheduling all tours. The USG may not be able to accommodate all requests if safety concerns arise. The USG will follow up regarding scheduling, agenda, and visitor instructions in advance of the event. The USG does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this Industry Day or otherwise pay or reimburse respondents for participation in this event. Do not rely on information presented today in formulating proposals. Should a RFP be issued, any information contained within the RFP supersedes the information presented here. No USG personnel, except for the Contracting Officer, can make any commitments on behalf of the USG. Responses to this Industry Day #8 request shall be submitted electronically to the following: Anna Whitcomb: anna.e.whitcomb2.civ@army.mil Amanda Carlson: amanda.l.carlson25.civ@army.mil Becky Bernard: rebecca.s.bernard2.civ@army.mil Ashley Korves: ashley.m.korves.civ@army.mil
