This is a Sources Sought / Request for Information (RFI) notice only. This is not a solicitation or Request for Quote (RFQ). No contract will be awarded from this notice. The 502d Contracting Squadron at Lackland Air Force Base (JBSA-Lackland) is conducting market research to identify potential qualified sources capable of providing a Solid-State Media Disintegrator - 2MM (SSMD-2MM), Manufacturer part number: 972-0001, that meets strict National Security Agency (NSA) compliance and specific salient characteristics. Responses to this notice will be used by the Government to make informed acquisition decisions, including determining potential Small Business set-aside strategies (e.g., Small Business, SDVOSB, WOSB, HUBZone, 8(a)). The required product must meet or exceed all of the following minimum specifications: NSA Compliance: Device MUST be listed on the National Security Agency (NSA) Evaluated Products List - Solid State Media Disintegrators (EPL-SS). Destruction Capability: Evaluated and approved by the NSA for physical destruction of solid-state media (e.g., memory cards, thumb drives, SSD circuit cards, enterprise SSDs, internal components of cell phones/tablets) and optical media (CDs/DVDs) to a 2mm particle size. Feed Throat / Media Acceptance: Accepts media dimensions up to 0.9 inches x 8.5 inches. Operation & Safety: Simple, automatic push-button operation. Internal logic/brain to sense overload and automatically reverse momentarily to clear and prevent jams. Automatic bin-full sensor. MAIN power switch capable of accepting a lock for Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) in the OFF position. Components & Maintenance: Features reusable, adjustable, and replaceable destruction blades, grinders, and screens (e.g., Life-Extend® or equivalent). Acoustics & Filtration: Operating noise level must be less than or equal to 85 dB. Self-contained, 3-phase air filtration system consisting of pre-filter, carbon filter, and HEPA filter. Physical Dimensions & Mobility: Maximum footprint: 27.5 inches W x 43 inches D; maximum height: 49 inches H. Maximum weight: 1,200 lbs. Equipped with heavy-duty castor wheels for mobility. Electrical Requirements: 200–240V, 1 Phase, 50/60 Hz, 6A. Warranty: Minimum 1-year warranty covering parts, labor, shipping, and on-site service (where available). If on-site service is unavailable, manufacturer/vendor must cover shipping costs to/from the factory or provide equipment replacement at no additional cost. Warranties must be extendable in 1-year increments. 3.
