Account requiredWhy it scored this way

Every reason behind the verdict rather than the headline one — which of your certifications match, how much runway is left, whether the work is your size, and what we would need to know to sharpen it.

Draft the paperwork

Written against this notice and what you have told us about your company. Anything we do not know is marked [NEEDS INPUT] in the draft rather than guessed at — read it before you send it.

Statement of work, as posted

The DHS US Coast Guard Training Center Petaluma intends to award a sole-source purchase order using the procedures at FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). This purchase order is intended to be awarded to Land & Coates Inc. for one Kubota MX4900HSTC tractor. This acquisition is being conducted on a brand-name basis. The particular brand name is essential to the Government's requirements as TRACEN Yorktown has a significant investment in compatible Kubota equipment and attachments. Procuring a different brand would require the purchase of new, duplicative equipment and attachments. Market research indicates that other similar products do not meet the agency's need for compatibility. The requirements document in the form of a Statement of Work is attached to this notice. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals or quotations. Any party who believes they can perform this requirement should submit a capability statement for consideration by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The government will not be responsible for any costs incurred by responding to this notice. A party may identify their interest and submit a capability statement by August 25, 2026, at 1100 EST. Responses, including questions about this notice, shall be sent via email to Amanda Distasio at Amanda.L.Distasio2@uscg.mil.
