This is a Sources Sought/Request for Information only. This is NOT a Solicitation Announcement, nor is it a Request for Proposal. This request does not obligate the Government in any contract award. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Wilmington District, is conducting research to determine the market capabilities of potential contractors to construct a SOF Ammo Supply Point. Construct an Operational Ammunition Supply Point (ASP) to provide safe storage and assembly areas for ammunition. PN 94023 will include primary facilities of include Ammunition Storage and Small Arms Warehouse. Supporting facilities include Covered/Open Storage Pads, Fire Suppression Facility, Gatehouse, Access Road, Perimeter Road Hardening, loading docks, lighting and cameras on all security fencing required for perimeter roads and access roads, lightning protection on all concrete pads and structures and tank trail for realignment around ASP. PN104308 will include Earth Covered Magazines, Covered/Open Storage Pads, Ammunition Holding Area, Charge Construction Facility, Residue Processing Building and Vehicle Scales. Other facilities include loading docks, and lightning protection on all concrete pads and structures. Built-in building systems will include fire alarm/mass notification, fire suppression, energy management control, telephone and advanced unclassified and classified communications networks, cable TV, intrusion detection, closed circuit surveillance, and electronic access control systems and a hardened protected distribution system. Department of Defense principles for high performance and sustainable building requirements will be included in the design and construction of the project in accordance with federal laws and Executive Orders. Low Impact Development features will be included in the design and construction of this project as appropriate.( see attachment for additional details and requirements)
