Solicitation Number: TBD Notice Type: Sources Sought Debris Boom For the United States Army Corps of Engineers, Kansas City District The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Kansas City District (NWK), is issuing this sources sought notice as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in, and the resources to support, the requirement for a debris boom at Truman Dam.. The intention is to procure these services on a competitive basis. DISCLAIMER Based on the responses to this sources sought notice/market research, this requirement may be set-aside for small businesses (in full or in part) or procured through full and open competition. All Small Business Set-Aside categories will be considered. This is a Sources Sought Notice and is for informational purposes only. This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP), Request for Quote (RFQ), or an Invitation for Bid (IFB). There is no bid package, solicitation, specifications or drawings available with this announcement. It does not constitute a procurement commitment by USACE, implied or otherwise. No contract will be awarded from this Sources Sought Notice. Response is strictly voluntary; no reimbursement will be made for any cost associated with providing information in response to this Sources Sought or any follow-up information requests. The Government shall not be liable for or suffer any consequential damages for any improperly identified information. Not responding to this notice does not preclude participation in any future solicitation, if issued. If a solicitation is released, it will be synopsized on the Governmentwide Point of Entry (GPE). PROJECT DESCRIPTION Place of Performance: Warsaw, MO in Benton County MO. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code: 332312 – Fabricated Structural Metal Manufacturing Small Business Size Standard: 500 employees. Work Includes: All materials and installation of a Debris Boom at the Truman Reservoir Dam The anticipated contract will be accomplished through a Commercial Supply Buy with Incidental Installation. Estimated Period of Performance: 180 days after contract award ADDITIONAL INFORMATION NWK intends to hold a site visit. This scheduled site visit is TBD. Information will be posted with solicitation. Attendance at the site visit is not a requirement and in no way will it have any effect on any company from submitting a response to this Sources Sought Notice and/or a response to any forthcoming solicitation. *If you do not have a Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) code or a Unique Entity Identifier (UEI), and you are interested in pursuing a contract with the Government, please register in the SAMs website as soon as possible (register through https://www.sam.gov/SAM/).
