Notice Type: Sources Sought Synopsis for Market Research Purposes Only. The purpose of this notice is to determine if responsible small or large business sources exist capable of fulfilling the needs identified in this effort, for market research purposes only. The proposed North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 621910, Ambulance Services, with a corresponding NAICS Size Standard of $22,500,000. The Government will use this information to determine the best acquisition strategy for this procurement. The Government is interested in all small businesses to include Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), HUBZone, and Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB) concerns IAW Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 19.203. The Medical Readiness Contracting Office - West, Fort Sam Houston, Texas, is seeking potential sources to provide comprehensive 911 Emergency Medical Services (EMS) for Fort Irwin, California, the National Training Center (NTC) operational and training areas, and the NASA Goldstone Deep Space Communications Complex. The requirement is for ground ambulance emergency response and transport organization for two (2) ground ambulances 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 or 366 days a year providing Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT), Paramedics, and a Senior Level Paramedic that shall serve as an On-Site Program Manager in support of U.S. Army Medical Department Activity (MEDDAC) Fort Irwin Operational Area-Ranges, NASA Goldstone Deep Space Communications Complex, Fort Irwin, California as outlined in the DRAFT Performance Work Statement (PWS). This requirement is expected to result in the award of a single Firm-Fixed Price contract. The anticipated period of performance is a 12-month base period plus two (2) 12-month option years. This is a new requirement. Contractors responding to this notice are advised their response does not ensure participation in future solicitations or contract awards. The Government will not reimburse any company or individual for any expense associated with preparation or participation in this research.
