Department of Defense · Department of the Army · W6QM MICC-FT DRUM
Account requiredWhy it scored this way

Every reason behind the verdict rather than the headline one — which of your certifications match, how much runway is left, whether the work is your size, and what we would need to know to sharpen it.

Draft the paperwork

Written against this notice and what you have told us about your company. Anything we do not know is marked [NEEDS INPUT] in the draft rather than guessed at — read it before you send it.

Start a free trial to draft these. Nothing is sent to an agency on your behalf, ever — you get a document to review, edit and submit yourself.

Compliance matrix

Every stated and implied requirement, its source section, whether it is mandatory, and where your response will address it.

Proposal outline

A submission skeleton where every required element is a heading with its source requirement quoted beneath it. You write the substance; nothing gets forgotten.

Questions to submit

Genuine ambiguities and requirements that disadvantage a smaller bidder, drafted as questions you can submit before the Q&A deadline.

Past performance write-ups

Which of your prior awards best match this requirement, and draft write-ups in the format the agency asked for.

Statement of work, as posted

The plow shall be a pusher plow with a 15-foot blade and with the top of the inside barrel being 56 inches from the ground. The plow shall have an integrated weld-in JRB 416 coupler, with each inner face measuring 29 3/8 inches from each other and evenly spaced from the center. The end plates shall be made from 3/8-inch plate and shall be a maximum of 61 11/16 inches tall and maximum width of 41 3/8 inches. There shall be (3) square 11/16-inch holes with the centers positioned 3 inches, 19 inches, and 35 inches away from the front side of the plate, and 2 inches from the bottom of the plate. Each end plate shall have a 2 1/2-inch section at the end of each plate which will be bent away from the plow weldment. Each end plate shall have a 1 1/2-inch hole positioned at the top of the plate. There shall be (7) 9/16-inch holes on each end plate along the profile of the outermost ribs to attach the end plate to the plow weldment. Each end plate shall attach to the plow weldment with (7) 1/2-13 x 2-inch Grade 8 hex bolts and (7) 1/2-13 Grade 8 locknuts. On each end plate shall be welded (2) identical support gussets made from 3/8-inch plate measuring 2 1/2 inches x 32 inches. On each end plate will be a shoe weldment with a mounting plate constructed from 1/2-inch steel, a base plate made from 3/4-inch steel, and (2) 1/2-inch x 4-inch x 4-inch gussets each positioned 11 1/2 inches from the center. The shoe shall be 6 3/4 inches tall, measure 39 11/16 inches in length, and be 6 inches in depth. There shall be (3) mounting slots positioned at the center and 16 inches from the center measuring 11/16 inches in width and measuring 2 3/8 inches in length. The mounting shoe shall be secured to each end plate with (3) sets of a 5/8-11 Grade 8 bolt, a 5/8 Grade 8 washer, and a 5/8-11-inch Grade 8 locknut. The plow skin shall have (7) press-broken brakes to form the plow, with (2) additional brakes at the top to form the box brake. The plow skin shall be a total of 180 1/2 inches wide, formed from (2) 8GA mirrored halves measuring 90 1/4 inches in length, and having an original height of 84 1/2 inches. There shall be (8) drain holes on the brake between the plow skin and the box brake, burnt at 9/16 of an inch. There shall be (17) slots in the bottom of the plow skin to facilitate the attachment of the blade. There shall be a 1 1/2-inch x 10-inch x 180-inch rubber blade attached to the plow skin. The blade will be secured via (3) 3/8-inch x 3-inch x 57-inch retainer plates and (17) 5/8-11 x 4-inch Grade 8 bolts with 5/8-11 Grade 8 locknuts. There shall be (8) ribs placed vertically on the plow skin for support made with 1/2-inch plate. On the outermost ribs shall be (7) mounting holes for the end plates. The innermost (2) ribs shall be shorter in length and weld to the couplers. Between each rib on the rear of the plow shall be a section of 5-inch x 5-inch x 1/2-inch angle placed between the 3rd and 4th brakes from the bottom of the skin. (6) shall be 24 inches in length, with the angle in the center being 29 1/4 inches in length. Below the first brake shall be (2) identical pieces of bent reinforcement measuring 3/8-inch x 18-inch x 89 11/16-inches. Below the middle 4 ribs shall be lower ribs whose profile shall encircle the bent channel and terminate in a flat section perpendicular to the ground. These lower ribs will have additional supports on the bottom, and between the ribs/couplers and the couplers themselves. The supports and lower ribs will all be welded to an 80 1/8-inch x 19 7/8-inch reinforcement plate with 1 5/16-inch x 9 1/16-inch slots spaced 24 3/32 inches from each edge to accommodate the weld-in couplers. All of these supports will be made from 3/8 plate. Connecting the outermost lower ribs and the end plate will be (4) outer lower reinforcements, (2) per side. The lower of these supports on either side shall be supported via a 1/2-inch x 6-inch x 8 1/2-inch plate welded to the skin, lower reinforcement, and blade angle. At each corner of the plow shall be a triangular gusset for reinforcement, (4) total, made from 3/8-inch plate at the bottom of the plow and 8GA at the top. Between the couplers shall be (2) 1/2-inch x 6-inch x 6-inch gussets, and (1) lifting lug. The blade angle shall be a 6-inch x 4-inch x 3/4-inch x 180-inch angle with 17 holes spaced along its length. It will also have (14) 1/2-inch x 2 1/4-inch x 4-inch gussets spaced between the holes.
