This synopsis is posted to publicize the Government’s intent to award a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) Construction Contract at the New Hampshire Job Corps Center. The U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) seeks the services of a qualified construction contractor to complete the replacement of siding on all buildings at the New Hampshire Job Corps Center in Manchester, New Hampshire. The project is to provide construction services for the phased removal of the existing wood siding system and installation of a new fiber cement plank siding system on Buildings A, B, C, D, E, F, and G. The work includes necessary surface preparation, underlayment/building wrap, sheathing repair or replacement as needed, removal and reinstallation of exterior fixtures and devices, and related work. The approximate total area of existing wood siding is 58,000 square feet. A full outline of the work to be performed will be provided in the specifications and drawings included with the solicitation. Period of Performance NTP to Substantial Completion: 435 calendar days NTP to Final Acceptance: Substantial Completion + 30 calendar days, or longer period as agreed and authorized by the Contracting Officer Invitation for Bids Award will be given to the responsible bidder whose bid, conforming to the invitation, will be most advantageous to the Government, considering only price and price-related factors included in the invitation. Award shall not be made until all required approvals have been obtained. Who May Respond The resulting solicitation announcement will be a total small business set-aside with primary NAICS code 238170. The Small Business Standard for NAICS code 238170 is $19 million. The Government anticipates issuance of the solicitation on or about September 3, 2026.
