1. NOTICE SUMMARY: The Department of the Army Combat Capabilities Development Command Aviation & Missile Center (DEVCOM AvMC) will host an Industry Summit to provide a forum for industry representatives to learn about DEVCOM AvMC’s strategic vision and opportunities for collaboration. Events will include a DEVCOM AvMC Keynote Address; executive panels; technology-focused workshops; an overview of contracting processes, requirements and opportunities; and industry Independent Research and Development (IR&D) one-on-ones. One-on-ones are confidential sessions for industry to present R&D to government technical experts and receive direct feedback to foster targeted, collaborative follow-on actions. *******THIS EVENT IS OPEN TO U.S. CITIZENS ONLY.******* 2. BACKGROUND: The DEVCOM AvMC Industry Summit is a call to action for the defense industrial base. The traditional acquisition lifecycle is too slow to counter pacing adversaries. To bridge this gap, DEVCOM AvMC is aligning its Science and Technology (S&T) priorities directly with the Portfolio Acquisition Executives (PAEs) and pivoting to Other Transaction Authorities (OTAs). The intent of this event is discussion of hard targets for industry IR&D investments. 3. INDUSTRY SUMMIT DETAILS: Date: 26 - 28 October 2026 Time: 0800 – 1600 CDT Location: Day 1: Bob Jones Auditorium, Sparkman Complex, Building 5304, Redstone Arsenal, Alabama Day 2 & 3: TBD Agenda (Tentative): 26 October 2026 0745 - 0830: Check-In 0830 - 0845: Welcome and Opening Remarks 0845 - 0945: DEVCOM AvMC Director Keynote + Q&A – Dr. Jim Kirsch 1000 – 1100: Executive Panel - DEVCOM AvMC, PAEs 1100 – 1230: Lunch 1230 – 1330: S&T Priorities – DEVCOM AvMC Directors, Maneuver Air; Fires; Strategic Technology & Innovation 1330 – 1345: Cooperative Research and Development Agreement (CRADA) Discussion 1400 – 1445: Contracting Brief 1445 – 1500: Closing Remarks 1500 – 1630: Networking Social 27 and 28 October 2026 0800 – 0845: Check-In 0900 – 1600: Technology Workshops 0900 – 1600: Industry One-on-Ones 4. REGISTRATION: Registration is mandatory for all attendees. Each session will be fifty (50) minutes in duration and scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note that only one (1) session per company is permitted. Limitations: Attendance is limited to three (3) representatives per business unit of a company. This restriction applies to all portions of the event, including briefings and one-on-one sessions, to ensure equitable access and manageable session scheduling. 5.
