PLEASE READ THIS NOTICE CAREFULLY AS IT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY NOTICE THAT WILL BE PUBLISHED. The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) intends to award a sole source, firm fixed-price contract to EDAC Systems, Inc., Address: 10970 Pierson Drive, Fredericksburg, VA. This service contract will cover annual maintenance, repair, and cleaning during the twelve (12) month period of performance. The North American Classification System Code is 811210 - Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance. The FBI's, Information Management Division (IMD) requires a maintenance service contract provided by the original equipment manufacturer to retain warranty. The maintenance service contract is for Ricoh (Fujitsu) 7700 Scanner instruments, Falcon Scanners, and XDS (BancTec) Scanner. EDAC service engineers have access to the necessary consumables and parts to replace any malfunctioning component on an instrument in a timely fashion with the specific and necessary parts, and all facility clearance to support in classified sites. It is critical that a certified service engineers from the manufacturer perform services on the instruments, to avoid voiding the current warranty. Based on market research, and Government end-users, EDAC is the only vendor authorized to service Ricoh or Fujitsu branded products. Justification for Other Than Full and Open Competition available upon request. The Government intends to negotiate with only one (1) source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, interested parties may identify their interests and/or capabilities statement to this requirement by contacting Contract Specialist, Lily Calvert by email at lrcalvert@fbi.gov no later than 05:00 PM EST on 05/22/2025. Responses sent utilizing other means will not be considered. Information received will be used solely to determine whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is at the discretion of the Government. No reimbursement for any cost connected with providing capability information will be provided. The information provided herein is subject to change and does not bind the Government to solicit for or award a contract. Vendors shall be registered in the System for Awards Management (SAM.gov) to receive government contracts. The FBI uses a financial system that has a direct interface with SAM. Please ensure that your company's SAM information is updated and accurate. This includes TIN, EFT, UEI, addresses, and contact information. The EFT banking information on file in SAM will be what the FBI uses to process payment.
