Statement of work, as posted

The U.S. Coast Guard Surface Forces Logistics Center, Damage Control Life Saving Equipment Section, has a requirement to procure thirty (30) P-100 portable pump units for installation onboard Coast Guard Cutters to support the sustainment of the surface fleet’s operational readiness. It is the Government’s belief that these pumps can only be procured from the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), W.S. Darley Co, or an authorized distributor. The Government does not possess the technical and engineering data required to evaluate alternate part numbers. All technical and engineering data is proprietary to the OEM. However, firms that have the capability of obtaining these components can submit their capabilities within fifteen (15) calendar days from the date this notice is posted. Information submitted must include: (1) Verification, if applicable, that vendor is an authorized distributor for the OEM; (2) information that components have previously been provided to the Government, including previous contract information. This data must include sufficient information to allow the Coast Guard to evaluate the information relative to the above requirements. Concerns that respond to this notice must fully demonstrate a bona fide capability to meet the requirements. Inquiries/information received after the established deadline shall NOT be considered for this acquisition. The submission of this data for review shall not impede the award of this contract. The Government does NOT intend to pay for information solicited. This synopsis is issued pursuant to RFO 6.103-2. For information regarding this acquisition, contact the Contracting official(s) listed herein.
