Statement of work, as posted

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), NAS Patuxent River, MD intends to negotiate and award a contract modification to delivery order N00019-24-F-0125 under Basic Order Agreement (BOA) N00019-22-G-0009 on a sole source basis to BAE Systems, Nashua, NH. The contract action will procure technical support to assist with integrating the AN/ALE-55 Electronic Frequency Converter (EFC), Fiber-Optic Towed Decoy (FOTD), Dual Band Decoy (DBD) with ADVEW. This requirement will be procured in accordance with the statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition under Title 10 U.S.C 3204 (a)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements." This synopsis is for informational purposes only. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. Interested parties, however, may identify their interest and capability by responding to the requirement. The Government will consider all information received prior to the closing date of this synopsis. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed contract modification based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
