The 14th Contracting Squadron at Columbus AFB, MS hereby gives NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE to SmartShooter Inc., 13405 Elevation Lane, Herndone, VA 20171, to provide all products/support IAW the Statement of Work for SMASH 2000LE fire control optics. Description of Requirement: This acquisition is a strict sole-source procurement to fill an immediate capability gap identified by the Department of War (DoW) Joint C-sUAS Office (JCO) and recognized under the DAF FM 679 waiver. The "capability gap" refers to the critical point defense shortfall for a dismounted kinetic effects capability, specifically against small, unmanned aerial systems (sUAS). The SMASH 2000LE system is required to fill this immediate capability gap by providing a predictive tracking and fire control solution that enhances marksmanship, reduces the risk of collateral damage, and serves as a force-multiplier against fast-moving aerial and ground targets. Deliverables: 6ea SMASH 2000LE System • Each SMASH 2000 ENHANCED is provided with a 12-months warranty and includes Sighting unit (including Lock button), Fire Block Mechanism (replaceable hand grip), (3) rechargeable batteries, (1) battery charger, cables & accessories, case and operational guide. 1ea Spare Parts Kit This is not a solicitation for competitive quotes; however, if any interested party believes they can provide this service without compromising manufacturing, delivery, warranty, system integrity, or proprietary software licensing constraints, you may submit a statement of capabilities to be considered. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement is based upon responses to this notice and is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future. The capability statement, a price list, and any other information furnished must be sent via email only and must contain material in sufficient detail to allow the Government to determine if the vendor can meet the requirements without violating SmartShooter Inc.'s exclusive software and hardware ownership.
