Maintenance Dredging at Various Locations, Tyndall AFB, FL. This is the official synopsis for the Maintenance Dredging contract at Tyndall Air Force Base, FL. This will be a single award, firm-fixed price contract. The Contractor shall be responsible for all equipment, labor, tools, materials, and supervision necessary to complete the tasks defined by the government-provided attachments. The Statement of Work (SOW) sets forth the requirements for a Request for Proposal (RFP) for a site-specific construction effort for maintenance dredging at four distinct locations at Tyndall AFB, Florida. The Contractors performance shall be based entirely on the 100% design specifications and drawings provided by the Government in the solicitation attachments. All work shall be accomplished in strict accordance with the contract documents, which will include the attached Technical Specifications, Design Drawings, approved Environmental Permits, and the applicable Construction Wage Rate Determination. If there is a conflict between codes, regulations, and specifications, the most stringent requirements shall apply. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 237990 (Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction) will apply to this acquisition. The size standard for this NAICS code is $45.0M. This requirement is being solicited as a 100% Total Small Business set-aside. The magnitude for this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The period of performance is for 365 calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed (NTP). The successful offeror will be selected using the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) source selection procedure. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be issued electronically on or about September 2, 2026, on the SAM.gov web page. Paper copies will not be available. Once the solicitation is posted, interested parties are advised to review the site frequently for any updates and/or amendments. A formal site visit will not be conducted for this requirement. Bidders must rely on the detailed pre-dredge surveys, plans, and technical specifications that will be provided as attachments to the solicitation. The entire RFP will be made available only on the SAM.gov website. Potential offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of the solicitation and all subsequent amendments. To be eligible for contract award, offerors must be registered and marked active in the System for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov.
