The U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is seeking a Design Build (DB) Contractor to provide design and construction services of the new 253-agent and personnel Border Patrol Station (BPS) located in Las Cruces, New Mexico. The new BPS is being constructed in a single phase and will be awarded as an independent DB construction task order. The U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has requirement to Design/Build construction of a new Las Cruces BPS in Las Cruces, New Mexico, to support the USBP expanded staffing and mission requirements. The facility will accommodate 253 agents and personnel and provide infrastructure to support operations at three (3) Checkpoints. The BPS includes the main station facility, the vehicle maintenance facility and service, the canine facility; and physical plant support. Design and build a USBP station that includes Administration Offices, Break Area(s), Detention Facilities (holding capacity of 155 personnel), Fitness Areas, Male and Female Locker Rooms, Mechanical/Electrical/Plumbing Equipment Space, and Storage; Command/Tactical Control /Operations Center (C2) Design: Design, build, and furnish three (3) C2 Operations Room Consoles and nine (9) C2 Operations Room Video Displays, along with accompanying office spaces; Electronics Sensor Shop: Design and build a sensor area comprised of two (2) Electronic Vehicle Bays, one (1) MVSS Maintenance Bay and an accompanying Radio and Electronics Lab to conduct minor electronics repairs and manufacture camera pedestals and housing units for cameras; Detention Processing Space (DPS) Design: Design, build, and furnish five (5) Holding Cells at a capacity of four (4) occupants, seven (7) Holding Cells at a capacity of twelve (12) occupants, two(2) Holding Cells at a capacity of twenty-four (24) occupants, a Segregated Holding Room, a Padded Holding Room, and accompanying spaces. The DPS shall include a 2 lane Vehicle Sallyport capable of holding 1.5 number of buses Acquisition Strategy: This requirement will be competed amongst all contractors on the CBP Design-Build Construction Services Multiple Award IDIQ. All contractors on the IDIQ are large businesses.
