Who to talk to

At the forecast stage there is no active procurement, so contact is welcome rather than restricted — this is the one window where a direct conversation is straightforwardly appropriate.

The Small Business Specialist is usually the better first call. Helping firms like yours find and compete for this work is their actual job, and they can tell you whether a set-aside is still under consideration.

Published by the agency in its acquisition forecast, last updated July 9, 2026. Forecast entries are plans, not commitments — dates slip and requirements get cancelled, restructured or absorbed into another buy.

Statement of work, as posted

This Statement of Work (SOW) provides for the upgrade of existing analog IDS panels to Internet Protocol (IP)-based digital alarm control panels and the installation of new standalone IP-based IDS systems in offices that currently do not have an IDS installed. All new IDS installations and panel upgrades shall include an IP alarm control panel, a minimum of one (1) keypad, a compatible locking metal enclosure, and all appurtenances necessary to provide a complete, fully functional IDS. Depending on site-specific conditions and network availability, the Contractor may be required to install a wireless point-to-point transceiver to support communications. The alarm control panel shall support two-way network-based communications for system monitoring, alarm reporting, programming, diagnostics, and maintenance activities. The Vendor shall replace existing IDS components, sensors, and end devices with current-generation IDS equipment that is fully compatible with the newly installed IP-based alarm control panel. The completed system shall be delivered as a fully operational, turnkey IDS solution. The IDS shall operate independently of the GSA Enterprise Physical Access Control System (EPACS). The Contractor shall integrate the IDS with the FPS-approved Gallagher EPACS platform at the time of installation.
