Who to talk to

At the forecast stage there is no active procurement, so contact is welcome rather than restricted — this is the one window where a direct conversation is straightforwardly appropriate.

The Small Business Specialist is usually the better first call. Helping firms like yours find and compete for this work is their actual job, and they can tell you whether a set-aside is still under consideration.

Published by the agency in its acquisition forecast, last updated July 6, 2026. Forecast entries are plans, not commitments — dates slip and requirements get cancelled, restructured or absorbed into another buy.

Statement of work, as posted

The purpose of this procurement is to acquire four (4) Mobile Staging Sup-port Units (MSSUs) designed to enhance operational capability, efficiency, and resiliency of Staging Field Operations in Outside the Continental United States (OCONUS) environments. These units will serve as fully integrated, mobile workspace platforms that support receiving, inspection, documentation, coordination, and distribution functions within Federal Staging Areas, Incident Support Bases, and forward logistics sites. The Mobile Staging Support Units are purpose-built cargo trailer systems engineered to operate in austere, high-temperature, high-humidity, and storm-prone environments commonly encountered in OCONUS regions. Each unit will be equipped with onboard power generation, environmental control systems (cooling/ventilation), interior workspace configurations, and secure storage to support continuous 24/7 logistics operations. These capabilities are critical to ensuring uninterrupted command and control, documentation processing, and coordination between key operational roles including FSUL, TSUL, RDMG, LYMG, and APMG. Currently, staging operations rely heavily on temporary setups such as tents, open-air workspaces, or shared facilities that are vulnerable to weather im-pacts, limited in functionality, and insufficient for sustained operations. These constraints reduce operational efficiency, increase risk to personnel and equipment and create bottlenecks in receiving and distribution processes. These units will directly address these gaps by providing a standardized, hardened, and mobile solution that enables rapid site establishment and scalable operations.
