Every reason behind the verdict rather than the headline one — which of your certifications match, how much runway is left, whether the work is your size, and what we would need to know to sharpen it.
Written against this notice and what you have told us about your company. Anything we do not know is marked [NEEDS INPUT] in the draft rather than guessed at — read it before you send it.

The Naval Surface Warfare Center Indian Head Division (NSWC IHD) will host a Virtual Industry Day on August 26, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM EST. This virtual event will feature brief descriptions from various NSWC IHD departments on how they support the command's mission, alongside briefings on Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) requirements and upcoming small business opportunities. All interested industry partners must complete their registration online by the August 23, 2026, deadline. To help industry partners better understand our operations and align their capabilities with our mission, the event will feature presentations from several NSWC IHD departments. Representatives from these departments will provide brief descriptions of what they do, their technical focus areas, and their operational roles within Indian Head. These briefs will give small businesses direct insight into the command's diverse research, development, and engineering activities, helping potential partners identify where their services and technologies can best support NSWC IHD. Furthermore, the event will host briefs from the U.S. Army’s Next-Generation Commercial Operations in Defended Enclaves (NCODE) Team and MoveAmerica. The U.S. Army’s Next-Generation Commercial Operations in Defended Enclaves (NCODE) Team, operating under the Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Army for Data, Engineering, and Software [DASA(DES)] team is spearheading a critical modernization and security initiative for the Department of War's supply chain, focusing on helping small DIB contractors overcome the technical and financial barriers associated with strict federal cybersecurity mandates like CMMC and NIST SP 800-171. Additionally, representatives from MoveAmerica will join the session to discuss practical approaches to compliance and highlight MoveAmerica’s specific CMMC support capabilities. MoveAmerica is a Maryland-based 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and an emerging thought leader in domestic industrial base development, national security, and supply chain resilience. Through its close partnerships with APEX Accelerators, the Department of War, the Department of Commerce, and the State of Maryland, MoveAmerica works to advance research, development, and consortia management. This event will be conducted entirely online, and attendance is strictly limited to two (2) representatives per company to ensure virtual platform stability. Interested participants must register prior to the August 23, 2026 deadline by visiting the Registration Link: https://forms.osi.apps.mil/pages/responsepage.aspx?id=AD4z43fIh0u2rUXpQt4XUEhUxU0rlzJGosGSdgwOHspUMDJUUElNM040VUJSRkxaRlFBSTJXSTQwSy4u&origin=lprLink&route=shorturl Registered attendees will receive a follow-up email prior to the event date containing the official virtual meeting link, access instructions, and the final agenda.
