This Presolicitation Notice is published in accordance with RFO FAR 5.101(c) requirements. It is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or award a contract. The California Air National Guard, 129th Rescue Wing (129th RQW) Moffett Field ANGB, has a requirement entitled: 129 CEF - Repair Hangar Doors The 129th RQW intends to solicit a quote in accordance with RFO FAR 12.201-1 Simplified procedures as a non-competitive, sole source requirement to intended source ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems US Inc, the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). Quote will be evaluated on technical and price, for award of a firm-fixed price purchase order prior to 30 September 2026. ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems US Inc is the only contractor who is certified specifically to perform maintenance, repairs, or modifications to Megadoor Systems. The general scope of the requirement is to obtain specialized technical services to troubleshoot, repair, and make fully operational the Megadoor hangar door system at Building 662 California Air National Guard Station, 129th Rescue Wing (129th RQW) Moffett Field ANGB, California. The contractor will identify and resolve critical electrical faults preventing full door operation, complete necessary preventative maintenance, install upgraded safety arrestor components, and deliver a formal operational engineering recommendation regarding the system’s long-term viability. Please note that this notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes; however, any response to this notice must show clear, compelling, and convincing evidence that competition will be advantageous to the Government. Interested parties who believe they can meet the requirements are invited to submit complete information in writing describing their ability to provide the product/services no later than as specified in this notice. Interest/capability statements may be sent to MSgt Austin Breault at austin.breault.1@us.af.mil . No telephone responses will be accepted. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract or otherwise pay for the information provided in response. The Government reserves the right to use information provided by respondents for any purpose deemed necessary and legally appropriate. Any organization responding to this notice should ensure that its response is complete and sufficiently detailed to allow the Government to determine the organization's capability to perform the work. The Government is under no obligation to acknowledge receipt of the information received or provide feedback to respondents with respect to any information submitted.
