DG01--NextGEN Infrastructure Upgrades

Department of Veterans Affairs · 241-NETWORK CONTRACT OFFICE 01 (36C241)
Account requiredWhy it scored this way

Every reason behind the verdict rather than the headline one — which of your certifications match, how much runway is left, whether the work is your size, and what we would need to know to sharpen it.

Draft the paperwork

Written against this notice and what you have told us about your company. Anything we do not know is marked [NEEDS INPUT] in the draft rather than guessed at — read it before you send it.

Start a free trial to draft these. Nothing is sent to an agency on your behalf, ever — you get a document to review, edit and submit yourself.

Compliance matrix

Every stated and implied requirement, its source section, whether it is mandatory, and where your response will address it.

Proposal outline

A submission skeleton where every required element is a heading with its source requirement quoted beneath it. You write the substance; nothing gets forgotten.

Questions to submit

Genuine ambiguities and requirements that disadvantage a smaller bidder, drafted as questions you can submit before the Q&A deadline.

Past performance write-ups

Which of your prior awards best match this requirement, and draft write-ups in the format the agency asked for.

Statement of work, as posted

SITE VISIT Site Visit information: Site visit will be held on Friday, 21 August 2026 at 1:00 PM EST located at the West Haven VAMC. Please contact Peter Sandor directly (peter.sandor@va.gov; (203) 932-5711 Ext. 3152) to schedule attendance at West Haven VAMC. Please note all questions must be submitted to Shawn Lawrence (Shawn.Lawrence@va.gov), prior to Tuesday 25 August 2026 at 3:00 PM EST. No questions will be answered at the site visit. RFIs Will the Government host a site visit or walkthrough prior to the response date? Conduit routing, run lengths, and mounting conditions are the primary cost drivers on this effort, and a brief escorted walkthrough of the 12 locations would allow quoters to price accurately. A site visit has been added to the solicitation. CLINs 0001 and 0003 and Section 3.3 reference "10 locations," but the CLIN quantities are 12 each and the location table in Section 3.3 lists 12 rows. Please confirm the full scope is 12 locations and the CLIN quantities of 12 govern. There are 12 locations in total. Section 3.3 has been updated. Will the Government provide drawings, approximate conduit run lengths, or distances from each IT closet to the corresponding AP location? If not, the site visit in question 1 becomes essential for responsible fixed pricing. A site visit has been added to the solicitation. Please describe ceiling and mounting heights at the AP locations, particularly the sub-ground, basement, and mechanical-type spaces in Buildings 1, 5, and 24. Are there locations that will require powered lifts, and if so, are lifts able to reach those areas (elevator access and floor loading for upper floors such as Building 1, Level 9)? Do not expect ceiling heights of no more than 8 Section 3.7 includes Attachment C, VA Newington Campus Map, while Section 3.3 states all work is at the West Haven VAMC. Please confirm there is no work at the Newington campus under this contract. Newington Map removed. What working hours apply? Specifically, will above-ceiling work in patient care areas be permitted during normal business hours, or should quoters anticipate evening or weekend work? Please also confirm whether ICRA or other infection control permitting will be required for above-ceiling activities. ICRA carts will be required in common spaces. Vendor is required to provide ICRA cart. Can contractor personnel vetting and badging under VA Directive 0710 begin immediately at award, and does the Government anticipate the 30-day period of performance accounting for background investigation processing time? Yes, Vetting and badging will start at time of award. Do to access to IT equipment and spaces the full PIV will need to be acquired prior to initial work performance. Section 5.2 references reconciliation of a "Profit-figure anomaly noted in the Drafter's Note," but no Drafter's Note is included in the solicitation. Please clarify or confirm this reference does not apply. Reference removed. Section 5.2 has been updated. Â
