SOLE SOURCE NOTICE Department of Veteran Affairs (VA) Network Contracting Office 21 (NCO 21) hereby gives notice of the Government's intent to negotiate a sole source, Firm-Fixed-Priced Purchase Order with only one source, Case Medical, Inc., located at 50 West St., Bloomfield, NJ 07003. The procurement is for the VA San Francisco Healthcare System, Nursing Service, which is requesting to procure a custom STERRAD-compatible sterilization container system and device-specific internal trays to support the safe sterilization, protection, and organization of reusable medical equipment used in clinical operations. The SteriTite Universal Sealed Container System and MediTray custom instrument trays are a unique OEM solution that provides validated compatibility with the facility's existing device inventory required by the VA. Key features include: STERRAD-validated rigid sterilization container system Custom device-specific tray designed for Stryker camera and cord Custom device-specific tray designed for Stryker 1688 camera Custom device-specific tray designed for Storz TH113 blue light camera General laparoscopic tray configured for three lenses Custom device-specific tray designed for Olympus URF-Type V Custom device-specific tray designed for Olympus CYF-V2/V2R/VA2 Compatible sterilization container tags This action is for supplies/services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) or FAR 13.501(a)(1)(ii) (as applicable) and 41 USC §1901, where only one source is reasonably available. Only one vendor is capable of responding due to the unique or specialized nature of the requirement. It is the Government's belief that the proposed contractor is the only provider capable of supplying the SteriTite/MediTray system with all required components, compatibility, and OEM specifications necessary to meet the agency's needs. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 339112 (1,000 employees) and the Product Service Code (PSC) is 6515. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive quotes. Telephone requests will not be accepted. However, any business that believes it can provide the required brand-name items or equal may submit a written capability statement to Janetra.Johnson@va.gov and Edward.Hunter@va.gov no later than 08-19-2026, 12:00 PM Pacific Time. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the stated requirements. Responses will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed acquisition based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. THIS NOTICE DOES NOT COMMIT THE GOVERNMENT TO CONTRACT FOR ANY SUPPLY OR SERVICE. THE GOVERNMENT WILL NOT PAY FOR ANY INFORMATION OR ADMINISTRATIVE COSTS INCURRED IN RESPONSE TO THIS NOTICE.
