Construction Services for Retaining Wall Replacement– Prague 6 area Solicitation: 19EZ8026Q0010 The U.S. Embassy in Prague seeks a contractor for the complete replacement of a 19-meter-long, 2.0-meter-high retaining wall located between two Government-Owned (GO) residential properties in Prague 6. The work includes demolition of the existing statically damaged retaining wall and adjacent fencing, excavation and earthwork, construction of new reinforced concrete foundations and a new RC retaining wall, installation of a drainage and waterproofing system, wall capping, installation of new 80 cm fencing with tie-ins to existing structures on both sides of the property line, and full site restoration. Actual concealed site conditions may vary; the contractor is responsible for verifying all measurements in the field prior to submitting a proposal. The contractor's work shall comply with Czech National Standards or U.S. codes and standards, whichever is more stringent Contractor Requirements: The contractor shall provide all necessary quantity surveyors, personnel, equipment, materials, and supervision to complete the services per the technical requirements under a firm fixed price. The period of performance for all phases of the project shall not exceed 15 days from Contract Award, with construction milestones including: Key Responsibilities: Submit reports, bill of materials, product literature, drawings, specifications, quality control schedule, project safety plan, and construction costs No work beyond the SOW unless directed in writing by the Contracting Officer (CO); work begins only after issuance of a Notice to Proceed (NTP) Ensure professional quality, technical accuracy, and coordination of all services; designate a Project Site Manager approved by the COR Additional Requirements: Contractor's employees and subcontractors must submit corporate, financial, and personnel information — including construction vehicle requirements — for Embassy review within 10 days of NTP Provide a fixed-price lump sum proposal in CZK (with and without VAT), including specification of materials Estimated project implementation window: autumn 2026 In applying for the solicitation material, you are acknowledging that your company can achieve compliance with the following highlighted requirement included in the solicitation: In accordance with DOSAR 652.242-73 AUTHORIZATION AND PERFORMANCE (AUG 1999), it will be necessary for your organization to possess authorization to operate and do business in the country in which this contract will be fulfilled.
