Statement of work, as posted

This notice is for informational purposes only. This is not a solicitation. The 158th Fighter Wing, South Burlington, VT intends to award a single source contract to Johnson Controls, Inc for Simplex TSW True site Workstation under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), due to proprietary highly complex equipment and solftware. Please note that this is not a request for competitive quotes. However, all interested parties who believe they can meet the requirements are invited to submit in writing information describing their ability to provide the product listed above. A determination by the Government to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Market research has not identified resellers of the Simplex TSW Trues site Workstation and Support. Johnson Contol, Inc. is thus the only vendor capable of providing technical support on their proprietary system. 52-232-18 Funds are not presently available for this contract. The Government’s obligation under this contract is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made. No legal liability on the part of the Government for any payment may arise until funds are made available to the Contracting Officer for this contract and until the Contractor receives notice of such availability, to be confirmed in writing by the Contracting Officer.
