PLEASE NOTE: On 11 AUG 2026-The NSN for the Input Power Conditioner (IPC) was updated to the following: 01-542-7378 The Defense Logistics Agency-Aberdeen, on behalf of the Army Integrated Logistics Supply Center (ILSC) – Supply Chain Management Directorate (SCMD) – Strategic Sourcing Directorate (SSD), intends to acquire Services to support the Repairs and Test and Inspect (T&I) for the PATRIOT Identification Friend or Foe (IFF) system. Requirements Description: The Identification Friend-or-Foe (IFF) system allows the Phased Array Tracking Radar to Intercept on Target (PATRIOT) radar to securely identify friendly aircraft and prevent accidental engagements. The specific Circuit Card Assemblies (CCAs) requiring repair are: Dual Channel Receiver (DCR) CCA: Receives and intercepts the incoming reply signals from aircraft transponders. Input Power Conditioner (IPC) CCA: Filters and regulates electrical power to protect the IFF system from voltage spikes and interference. Interrogator Reply Processor V1 (IRP) CCA: The central processor that decodes the received signals and verifies the aircraft’s identity Repairs and Test and Inspect (T&I) need return IFF interrogator sets and secondary components to the DoD AIMS certified configuration IAW DoD AIMS 1201 certification letter under applicable revision. The Government does not possess the technical data package (TDP) for the parts. The TDP is not available for release. The TDP includes level 1. conceptual information. The Government does not possess a competitive technical data package for the systems and components addressed in this announcement. The known manufacturer of the IFF interrogator sets and secondary components is Raytheon Technologies, Cage Code: 06845. At a minimum the support information you submit should include, but is not limited to, the following types of documentation: Questionnaire, past test and repair results, information on previous Government and commercial contracts, and data rights. In your response, please include your company name, CAGE code, and a technical point of contract with email address and telephone number. Notice, Response Due Date, and Points of Contact: This is NOT a Request for Quote or Proposal. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this SSA or reimburse any costs associated with the preparation of responses to this SSA. This Sources sought announcement (SSA) is for planning and market research purposes only and shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government. The information gathered from this announcement will be used to determine if responsible sources exist, and to assist in determining if this effort can be competitive and/or set aside for Small Business. Furthermore, the Government will use the information, in part, to determine the best acquisition strategy for a potential procurement action and/or to assist in making acquisition strategy decisions in the future.
