This Notice of Intent is prepared in accordance with FAR Subpart 5.2, Synopsis of Proposed Contract Actions for the Classical Physical Education Pilot Program Requirement. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS OR QUOTATIONS. A SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE POSTED. The Government intends to make a sole source service contract with Iliad Athletics, LLC, a provider of classical physical education curriculum, training, and implementation support services. Iliad Athletics develops Classical Physical Education Programs, which combine traditional physical training methods, functional movement, nutrition education, character development, and teacher professional learning into a comprehensive educational program designed for K-12 educational environments. The program incorporates classical gymnastics, functional calisthenics, physical literacy, fitness benchmarking, character education, and ongoing instructional support to promote student physical fitness, personal responsibility, and lifelong wellness. The proposed acquisition will support DoWEA's Classical Physical Education Pilot Program at Camp Lejeune High School North Carolina and Quantico High School Virginia and includes curriculum licensing, teacher professional learning, implementation support, fidelity reviews, and related services necessary to execute the pilot program. The sole source authority for this requirement is FAR 6.103-1(b), Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The applicable NAICS Codes include 611710 (Educational Support Services – Size Standard is $24,000,000). The applicable Product Service Code is U009. This notice is not a request for quotes.
