FALL FY27 INDUSTRY DAY U.S. Merchant Marine Academy Campus Modernization Industry Day Special Notice | Thursday, October 15, 2026 Event Overview The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), New York District, and the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy (USMMA) will host the Fall FY27 Industry Day from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Eastern Time on October 15, 2026. The hybrid event will bring industry, government, community organizations, and other interested attendees together with USMMA and USACE leadership for an updated view of the Campus Modernization Initiative, its strategic direction, and anticipated procurement activity. This event is open to the general public, and interested vendors. The FY27-FY28 forecast will emphasize the substantial heavy construction opportunities central to the modernization program while also addressing utility upgrades and complementary supporting and non-construction requirements. In-person participation is strongly encouraged. Prior registration is required for every attendee and closes at 12:00 p.m. Eastern Time on October 12, 2026. Strategic Program Overview: A general USMMA overview and FY27-FY28 Campus Modernization update, including the strategic vision, updated waterfall chart, and local-government and community considerations. Heavy Construction Forecast: A focused review of the significant heavy construction opportunities expected to drive the modernization program. Specific project names, dollar ranges, and acquisition methods will be presented at the event rather than released in this notice. Supporting and Utility Requirements: Discussion of utility upgrades and complementary non-construction requirements that support successful delivery of the broader construction program. Executive Panel and Q&A: A moderator-led discussion with USMMA leadership, USACE program representatives, and USACE Contracting, including questions and topics submitted by industry.
